Parshallville Cider Mill Begins New Chapter with Fresh Ownership

As the leaves begin to turn and the air grows crisp, the iconic Parshallville Cider Mill is not just readying for another fall season—it’s embarking on a transformative new chapter under the ownership of the Clark family. This shift comes after nearly 40 years of stewardship by the Detlef family, who expressed gratitude to their loyal customers in a heartfelt farewell on social media.
"We appreciate all of you, our loyal customers, our hardworking employees and the new and old friends made during the last several decades,” the Detlefs shared.
Starting this Saturday, visitors can expect the same cherished apple cider and donuts they’ve come to love, along with exciting new offerings. The Clarks are introducing gluten-free donuts, demonstrating their commitment to inclusivity and care for customer needs—an echo of the biblical principle of loving one’s neighbor (Mark 12:31).
Open Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and closed Mondays and Tuesdays, the cider mill retains its local charm. Residents of Holly, the Clarks have fond memories of visiting the mill as children, emphasizing their determination to preserve its history while infusing new life into the beloved establishment.
“We are really focused on preserving the history and charm,” they affirmed, highlighting their mission to honor those who came before them.

It is essential to note that while construction continues on the Parshallville Bridge, visitors should be mindful of detours to the parking lot. To facilitate accessibility, parking in front of the building is reserved for handicap use only, ensuring that all patrons can enjoy this local treasure.
