Devotional on Acts 20:13

In Acts 20:13, we see Paul and his companions setting sail for Assos while Paul decided to travel by foot. This shows us Paul’s dedication to his mission and his willingness to go the extra mile, quite literally, to spread the gospel.

As we reflect on this passage, we are reminded of the importance of taking action in our faith. Paul didn’t just talk about his beliefs, he lived them out in tangible ways. He was willing to put in the effort and make sacrifices in order to fulfill his calling.

Similarly, we are called to be active participants in our faith journey. We are called to not only believe in God’s word, but to also act upon it. Whether it’s serving others, sharing the good news, or simply being a light in the world, our faith should be evident in our actions.

Let us be inspired by Paul’s example and be willing to take action in our own lives. May we have the courage and determination to walk the path that God has set before us, trusting in His guidance every step of the way. Let our actions be a reflection of our faith and may we be a testament to the transformative power of God’s love.
