In times of weakness and weariness, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed and powerless. But we are reminded in the Bible that when we are weak, God is strong. It is during these difficult times that we can turn to Him in prayer and ask for His strength to sustain us.
In Psalm 28:7, it says, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.” When we pray for strength, we are acknowledging that we cannot face the challenges before us on our own. We are surrendering our weaknesses to the Almighty God who has the power to give us the strength we need to persevere.
So today, let us lift up a prayer for strength, knowing that God is always ready and willing to help us in our time of need. May we find comfort and courage in His presence, and may His strength be our refuge and our shield. Amen.
