Devotional: Faithful Hands – Honoring God Through Our Gifts
Scripture Reading:
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” – Colossians 3:23 (ESV)
Reflection:
In a world that often values accolades and public recognition, it can be easy to lose sight of the true purpose behind our gifts. Each of us has been entrusted with unique talents and abilities, gifts from God meant to be used for His glory and service. Just as the parable of the talents teaches us, our call is not to bury those gifts but to cultivate them, using our hands to bring forth God’s love and light into the world.
Consider what your “faithful hands” can create today. Whether it’s through your work, your creativity, or acts of service, every moment is an opportunity to honor God. The hands that serve, nurture, sustain, and create become an extension of our faith when used with the intention of glorifying Him.
