Devotional: Divine Timing – Embracing Career Opportunities in God’s Plan

Ecclesiastes 3:1 — "To everything, there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven."
Reflection:
In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel pressure to achieve our career goals immediately. We often run the race of ambition without considering the importance of timing. God’s timing is perfect, orchestrating every moment to align with His divine plans.
Consider the life of Joseph in the Old Testament. He was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, and unjustly imprisoned. Yet, through these trials, God was preparing him for a pivotal role in Egypt that would save countless lives during a famine (Genesis 50:20). Joseph’s journey teaches us that even in challenging circumstances, God is at work, aligning everything according to His purpose.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect timing. Help me to trust in Your plan for my career and life’s purpose. May I find peace in the waiting and strength in the uncertainty. Teach me to discern the opportunities You place before me and to seize them at the right moment. Amen.
