In 1 Corinthians 13:4, we are reminded of the characteristics of godly love. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
Godly love is a selfless and sacrificial love that puts others before ourselves. It is patient in times of trial and kind in times of trouble. It does not seek to elevate itself above others or to bring attention to its own achievements. Instead, it humbly serves and uplifts those around it.
