Devotional: Hearts Aligned – Discovering Spiritual Compatibility in Love

1 John 4:7-8 (NIV): "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
Reflection:
In our quest for love, we often prioritize compatibility in interests, values, and lifestyles. Yet, as believers, we must consider a deeper layer of compatibility: spiritual alignment. When two hearts seek to honor God and reflect His love, their bond transforms beyond mere attraction; it becomes a sacred partnership.
Spiritual compatibility allows couples to navigate life’s storms with a shared foundation. It encourages prayer, collective worship, and an understanding of God’s will in their relationship.
