Devotional: Whispers of the Heart – A Journey through Parables and Promise
Scripture Reading: Matthew 13:34-35 (NIV)
“Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: ‘I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.’”
Meditation:
Throughout Scripture, Jesus often chose to teach in parables—simple stories layered with profound truths. These stories serve as whispers to our hearts, guiding us on our spiritual journey. Each parable is a breadcrumb leading us closer to understanding the divine promises of God; they invite us into a deeper relationship with Him.
In Whispers of the Heart, we are reminded that life itself is filled with stories. Each day presents us with lessons waiting to be uncovered. Can we hear the Lord’s gentle nudging in the ordinary moments of our lives? Sometimes, our hearts need to be attuned to the subtle teachings around us, just as our ears need to be open to the whispers of love and grace.

Open my eyes to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, and my ears to hear Your voice in the stillness. Grant me the wisdom to discern Your will and the courage to follow wherever You lead.
