Devotional: Unwrapped – Discovering and Embracing Your Spiritual Gifts
Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 (NIV)
"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good."

The journey of discovering our spiritual gifts is akin to unwrapping a beautifully packaged gift on a special occasion. The anticipation builds as we peel away the layers, revealing the unique treasures God has placed within us. Each of us has been bestowed with gifts by the Holy Spirit, intended not only for personal fulfillment but also for the collective good of the Church and the world.
In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul emphasizes that these gifts are diverse, authored by one Spirit. This means that while our gifts may differ, they all spring from the same divine source. Teach me to be a faithful steward of what You have entrusted to me, and guide me to opportunities where I can use my gifts to build up the body of Christ. May I always seek to understand and appreciate the gifts of others, knowing that together we reflect Your heart. Amen.
