SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — In a dramatic escalation of political unrest, South Korean authorities are pursuing an overseas travel ban against President Yoon Suk Yeol as they expand an investigation into possible rebellion charges following his controversial imposition of martial law last week. Yoon’s martial law decree, enacted last Tuesday, briefly deployed special forces troops onto the streets of Seoul, igniting significant political turmoil.
