Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg Announces Significant Layoffs, Targeting ‘Low Performers’

However, the preference for human talent—at least for now—appears to take precedence as Zuckerberg acknowledges that employees who fail to meet expectations will be replaced.

As the company prepares for what Zuckerberg describes as an "intense" 2025, the CEO’s emphasis on retaining the "strongest talent" raises questions about the company’s future direction.
