PHOENIX — In an exciting continuation of a fruitful partnership, KPNX 12 News and the Arizona Diamondbacks have announced they will jointly present eleven over-the-air baseball games during the 2026 season.

After a remarkable inaugural season in 2025, expectations have been set high. Derrick Hall, President, CEO, and General Partner of the D-backs, remarked, “Our first year partnering with 12 News exceeded every expectation, not only in viewership but in how deeply it allowed us to connect with fans.” This sentiment reflects the power of community and connection, principles that echo the spirit of fellowship celebrated in various teachings.

The upcoming lineup includes ten regular-season games, alongside a broadcast of the season opener, reaching an estimated 1.59 million households in the Phoenix area. “The fan response made it clear that viewers want more over-the-air baseball,” said Kate Morris, President and General Manager of 12 News. “Bringing 11 games to audiences this season, including the national season opener, allows us to expand access while continuing to showcase the team’s deep connection to our community.”

This partnership isn’t merely about sporting events; it embodies the essence of shared experiences and collective joy, reminiscent of the biblical emphasis on community and belonging. In the spirit of connection, Hebrews 10:24-25 encourages believers to “consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another
