MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — In a striking revelation, a recent Gallup poll indicates that approximately 15.5 million U.S. adults have utilized injectable diabetes medications like Ozempic and Wegovy for weight loss. While these drugs have proven effective in combating obesity and diabetes, their soaring popularity brings with it a significant health concern — the rise of counterfeit pharmaceuticals that pose serious dangers to unsuspecting consumers.

As officials escalate efforts to intercept these fraudulent shipments, the FDA is targeting online operators of counterfeit products, issuing warnings to desist or face legal repercussions.
