Devotional: Divine Wealth – Purposeful Financial Stewardship in Everyday Life
Scripture Focus:
“Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.” – 1 Corinthians 4:2 (ESV)
Reflection:
In our journey of faith, it’s easy to compartmentalize aspects of our lives—our spiritual life, relationships, work, and finances. However, as followers of Christ, we are called to integrate our faith into every facet, including our stewardship over the resources we have been given.
Divine wealth is not just financial abundance but a holistic view of stewardship that encompasses time, talents, and treasures. Our understanding of Divine Wealth should lead us to ask, “How can I use what I have been entrusted with to glorify God and serve others?”
As you reflect on this concept today, consider three key principles of purposeful financial stewardship:

Recognize Ownership:
Everything we possess is a gift from God. When we realize that we are merely stewards of His wealth, it changes our approach to money. We are called to manage our resources wisely, remembering that ultimately, they belong to Him.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the blessings You have bestowed upon me. Help me to be a faithful steward of Your resources, living out Your values in my financial decisions. May my life reflect Your generosity and love, as I seek to extend Your Kingdom here on earth. Amen.
