Topgolf Breaks Ground in Woodbury: A New Hub for Community Connection and Joy
Golf enthusiasts in the east metro can herald a fresh chapter in recreational entertainment as Topgolf officials have officially broken ground on their new three-level driving range and entertainment venue in Woodbury. Set to open its doors in late 2025, this location will be the second Topgolf in Minnesota, promising to enhance leisure and social engagement in the area.
According to company representatives, Topgolf Woodbury will feature 102 outdoor climate-controlled hitting bays across three levels—all designed with comfortable, lounge-type seating for groups to rally together or, perhaps, playfully engage with one another in lighthearted competition. With the integration of Topgolf’s Toptracer technology, guests will be able to trace the flight path and metrics of each golf ball—adding a layer of excitement to the golfing experience.
The venue, strategically located near the Interstate 94 and Interstate 494 interchange on a 14-acre site near the former Hartford Life building, is expected to create about 350 to 400 jobs for local residents. “We’re thrilled to break ground in Woodbury and expand Topgolf’s presence in Minnesota,” expressed Chris Callaway, the company’s chief development officer.
