San Francisco Man Charged in Case Involving Explicit Communication with Minor
FARMINGTON — A San Francisco man, identified as 31-year-old Michael G. Grossman, is facing serious legal charges after allegedly sending explicit photos and videos to a 15-year-old girl in Kaysville. According to charging documents, the communication between Grossman and the teen began in March. Over the course of their interactions, he reportedly transmitted sexual videos, pictures, texts, and audio recordings through a messaging platform called ChitChat, eventually moving the conversation to Snapchat. A significant breakthrough for law enforcement came when a search warrant revealed connections between the Snapchat account and Grossman.
The gravity of the situation escalates as it is reported that the girl made him aware of her age. Yet, rather than halting his advances, Grossman allegedly sent multiple messages soliciting sexual intercourse, stating, “It is wrong and taboo but that is what makes it exciting.” Evidence presented in court documents indicates that Grossman was actively pursuing relationships with young girls globally, with prosecutors claiming he took an unsettling thrill in engaging with minors.
