Meaning
The Pharisees expected a visible, political kingdom when they asked Jesus about the arrival of God’s kingdom. However, Jesus revealed that the Kingdom of God is not something that comes with external signs; it is already present among them.
The Kingdom of God begins internally, within our hearts and lives. When Jesus says the Kingdom is “in your midst,” He invites His listeners to recognize His presence and reign within them.
