In the Bible, Jesus had a lot to say about money and greed. He warned against the love of money, reminding us that we cannot serve both God and wealth. Jesus also spoke out against the greed that can consume our hearts and lead us away from God.

In Matthew 6:24, Jesus says, “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” This serves as a powerful reminder that our ultimate allegiance should be to God, not to material possessions or wealth.

In Luke 12:15, Jesus teaches, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” These words remind us that true fulfillment and contentment can only come from our relationship with God, not from the accumulation of material things.

Let us heed these words of Jesus and strive to keep our hearts focused on Him, rather than being consumed by the pursuit of wealth and possessions. By prioritizing our relationship with God above all else, we can find true peace and fulfillment in Him.
