I Will Trust God in the Waiting

Trusting in His Timing

As we wait for God to move in our lives, it can be easy to become impatient and doubt whether He is actually working behind the scenes. But the Bible reminds us that God’s timing is perfect and that we can trust in Him, even when we don’t see immediate results. Just as Abraham and Sarah waited for the fulfillment of God’s promise for a child, we too can trust that God is working things out for our good in His perfect timing (Genesis 21:2).

Resting in His Promises

In the waiting, we can find comfort in God’s promises. His Word assures us that He has plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). By anchoring our hearts in His promises, we can find peace and strength to endure the waiting period, knowing that God is faithful to fulfill what He has promised.

Seeking His Presence

While we wait, we can use this time to draw closer to God and deepen our relationship with Him. Through prayer, reading His Word, and spending time in His presence, we can find the strength and encouragement we need to keep trusting Him in the waiting. Just as David sought the Lord in the midst of his struggles, we too can seek God’s presence and find refuge and strength in Him (Psalm 62:8).
