Joy in the Lord

As believers, we are called to find our joy in the Lord. No matter what circumstances we face, we can find true and lasting joy in knowing God and His promises. Psalm 16:11 reminds us that in God’s presence there is fullness of joy. When we abide in Him, our joy overflows.

Expressing Gratitude

Gratitude is a key biblical principle that leads to joy. When we take the time to thank God for all He has done for us, we shift our focus from our problems to His provision. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 encourages us to “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances.” When we cultivate a heart of gratitude, joy naturally follows.

Jesus taught us that true joy comes from serving others. In Philippians 2:3-4, we are reminded to consider others above ourselves and to look out for the interests of others. When we take the focus off of ourselves and seek to bless and serve those around us, we experience a joy that surpasses all understanding.
