Devotional about Do what you love
Do What You Love
Created to Create
As children of God, we are created in His image, and part of that image is the ability to create and enjoy the work of our hands. When we engage in activities that we are passionate about, we are reflecting the creativity and joy of our Heavenly Father.
Pursuing Your Passion
The Bible encourages us to work wholeheartedly as if we are working for the Lord, not for human masters (Colossians 3:23). When we pursue our passions and do what we love, we are honoring God by using the gifts and talents He has given us for His glory.
Fulfillment in Service
Jesus taught us that the greatest commandment is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39). When we do what we love, we can also use it as a means to serve and bless others, thus fulfilling this commandment and bringing joy and fulfillment to our lives.
