Devotional about God Humbled Himself

God Humbled Himself

God’s Humility

In Philippians 2:6-8, we are reminded of the ultimate act of humility – when God, in the form of Jesus Christ, humbled Himself by taking on human form and submitting to death on a cross. This act of humility shows us the depth of God’s love and His willingness to sacrifice for our salvation.

Our Response

As followers of Christ, we are called to imitate His humility in our own lives. We are called to serve others, to put their needs before our own, and to approach each situation with a heart of humility. By doing so, we reflect the love of God to those around us.

Key Principles:

  • Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less.
  • True humility involves recognizing our need for God’s grace and guidance.
