Understanding Emotional Intelligence

Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand and manage our own emotions, as well as the emotions of others. In the Bible, we are called to be slow to anger, quick to listen, and slow to speak (James 1:19). This wisdom reflects emotional intelligence, as it encourages us to consider the feelings of others before reacting impulsively.

Living Out Empathy
