Prayer related to theme of Matthew 28:19-20
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You today with a humble heart, recognizing Your greatness, love, and the authority You have given to You. As I meditate on the theme of Matthew 28:19-20, I am reminded of the great commission You have given to Your disciples and to every believer in Christ.
Lord Jesus, You said in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” I am grateful for the privilege of being a part of Your mission here on earth. Please give me the courage, wisdom, and boldness to share Your love with those around me. Help me to live a life that reflects Your character, so that others may be drawn to You.
Father God, in verse 20, You promise, “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Thank You for Your constant presence in my life. Lord, I pray that Your Holy Spirit would guide me as I seek to follow Your commandments. Please open my eyes to the opportunities You place before me to proclaim Your Gospel and make disciples.
Lord, help me to be sensitive to the needs of others, to love them unconditionally, and to extend Your grace and mercy. Give me a heart that is willing to sacrifice my own desires for the sake of advancing Your kingdom. Teach me to be patient and understanding, knowing that the process of disciple-making requires time and effort.
Gracious Father, I lift up all the nations of the world before You. May Your Gospel reach every corner, breaking down barriers and transforming lives. Strengthen and protect Your servants who are serving abroad in difficult circumstances. Equip them with the right words to speak and grant them divine appointments that bring people to know You personally.
Lord, help me to cultivate a heart of obedience to Your command. Fill me with a deep passion for the lost and a burning desire to see Your name glorified in all nations. Use me as an instrument in Your hands, enabling me to make disciples who, in turn, will make disciples.
I offer this prayer in the precious name of Jesus Christ, trusting in Your unfailing love and believing in the power of Your Word. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. Amen.
