Health and Wellness Devotional: Faith and Fitness – Embracing Wholeness in Body and Spirit

Scripture Reading:

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV)

In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it can be easy to overlook the profound connection between our physical health and our spiritual well-being. However, the Scriptures remind us that our bodies are not just vessels; they are temples of the Holy Spirit. This divine truth invites us to embrace a holistic approach to health and wellness—one that honors God with both our spirit and our physical self.
