The Battle is the Lord’s: God is Fighting for Me
Dear friends,
In life, we often find ourselves facing battles, both big and small. Sometimes we battle with sickness, financial struggles,
broken relationships, or feelings of hopelessness. As we navigate through these battles, it is important to remember
that we are not alone. The good news is that the battle is the Lord’s, and God is fighting for us.
“Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.” (2 Chronicles 20:15)
This scripture verse reminds us that we should not fear or be discouraged. Regardless of the size or magnitude of our struggles,
we can find strength and reassurance knowing that God is with us. He is our defender, and He fights on our behalf.
When we feel overwhelmed and don’t know how to overcome our challenges, we can take comfort in turning to God. He is our
refuge and strength, a present help in times of trouble.
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14)
Being still doesn’t mean being passive or inactive, but rather it means trusting in God’s sovereignty and His ability to
work things out for our good. Surrendering our battles to God allows His divine intervention and wisdom to guide us
through the storms of life.
Our role is to remain steadfast in faith, seeking Him with our whole heart and believing that He is faithful to fulfill His
promises. We must cling to His word, knowing that He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us.
“The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:8)
In our struggles, let us not rely on our own strength or understanding but trust in the power and authority of our Heavenly
Father. He is our mighty warrior, and His plans for us are good. Our battles may be fierce, but victory is already
assured through Jesus Christ.
“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57)
So, my dear friends, whatever battle you are currently facing, remember that the battle is the Lord’s. Trust in Him wholeheartedly,
stand firm on His promises, and watch as He fights on your behalf. Be still and know that He is God, the one who
brings victory and delivers us from all our fears.
God bless you abundantly,
