Mastery of Life Devotional

Walking in Mastery

As followers of Christ, we are called to walk in mastery of life, not in our own strength, but through the power of the Holy Spirit. God desires for us to live in victory and abundance in every area of our lives.

1. Trusting in God’s plan for our lives.

2. Surrendering our will to His will.

3. Walking in obedience to His Word.

4. Developing self-discipline and self-control.

Biblical Principles for Mastery

Scripture is filled with principles that guide us in living a life of mastery. Let’s look to the Word of God to gain wisdom and understanding on how to walk in mastery in every area of our lives.

  1. Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
  2. 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 – Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
  3. Galatians 5:22-23 – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
