Standing in the Gap

When we think of Jesus, we often imagine Him as a powerful teacher and healer, but it’s important to remember that during His time on earth, He was also homeless. In Matthew 8:20, Jesus tells a scribe, “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.” This shows us that Jesus understands the struggles of being without a permanent home and can empathize with those who are experiencing homelessness today.

Serving the Least of These
