Introduction

Our journey through Scripture continues as we explore the empowering depths of faith and the abundant grace of God. Today, we delve into Jude 1:24-25, which highlights God’s unparalleled power and offers a profound look at His divine majesty. These uplifting bible verses inspire us to a deepened faith and a renewed celebration of His glory.

As we dwell on these verses, we will discover the awe-inspiring nature of our God who can keep us from falling and present us blameless before His glorious presence. So, let’s join together, with open hearts and spirits, to explore the wondrous implications of this beautiful scripture.

Bible Verse

“Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.” – Jude 1:24-25

Meaning

These verses present two fundamental prepositions about God. Firstly, He can keep us from stumbling off the path of righteousness. To stumble is to temporarily lose control, to falter. However, God’s power is infinite, and thus He is able to prevent us from falling, even when we find ourselves on unstable ground.

Secondly, He presents us as blameless before His glorious presence. We are human, and we are inherently flawed – no one walks through life without stumbling or straying. But through Jesus Christ, God saw us worthy to be purified from our sins. It isn’t our virtue, but God’s mercy that redeems us.

This passage of scripture concludes with a triumphant assertion: God’s dominion and authority extend beyond time – past, present and future. He alone is God – our Savior, and to Him belongs all glory and honor.
