Dear Heavenly Father,
As I come before you today, I am reminded of the words you spoke in Matthew 6:19-21. You have instructed us not to store up treasures here on earth, where they can be destroyed or stolen, but to lay up treasures in heaven where they are safe and eternal.
Lord, help me to shift my focus from the temporary things of this world to the everlasting treasures of heaven. May my heart be set on you and your kingdom above all else.
Forgive me for the times when I have chased after earthly treasures and let them consume my thoughts and desires. I know that true fulfillment and contentment can only be found in you.
