However, it&#8217;s in these moments of distress that we must lean into the beautiful and transformative power of God&#8217;s love.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Trust<\/strong> is a central theme in our relationship with God. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to trust in the Lord wholeheartedly, even when our understanding is limited. This is a call to surrender, to release our desire to control every aspect of our lives. In doing so, we allow God to work through us, guiding us along a straight path. Trust is not just passive; it requires active engagement\u2014a vibrant faith that believes God is at work, even when circumstances don&#8217;t align with our expectations.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Consider the story of Peter walking on water (Matthew 14:22-33). When Peter stepped out of the boat, his initial trust in Jesus allowed him to walk on water. But when fear took hold, Peter began to sink. Jesus reached out, pulling him back to safety.
