OhioMeansJobs Hardin County Awarded Grant to Rebuild Lives through Driving Privileges<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a significant move to uplift the community, OhioMeansJobs Hardin County, alongside the Area 8 Workforce Development Board, has been awarded the Drive On Responsibly Grant from the state. This initiative aims to empower unemployed and underemployed adults by helping them regain valid driving privileges and secure meaningful employment\u2014a vital step towards self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n

Participants eligible for this program will receive support to cover the costs associated with driving courses, license fees, reinstatement fees, and up to a year of vehicle insurance. By enrolling in the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act Adult program, these individuals will not only acquire essential skills but will also receive continuous guidance from OhioMeansJobs staff until their career goals are achieved.<\/p>\n
