I packed my calendar with church activities, volunteer work, and personal projects, convinced that my worth was measured by my output. Little did I know that God was inviting me to a better way\u2014one of rest, grace, and acceptance. <\/p>\n<p><strong>The Burden of \u201cDoing\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many of us fall into the trap of performance-driven faith, believing that our spiritual lives hinge on our activities. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the expectation to do more?<\/li>\n<li>Do you find yourself comparing your spiritual journey to others?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These pressures can lead to burnout and frustration. Jesus spoke directly to this struggle in Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV):<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCome to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>These verses remind us that Jesus offers us rest from our burdens.
