If you have purchased a generic prescription drug listed over a span from May 2009 to December 2019, you could be eligible for financial restitution. Residents are encouraged to determine their eligibility by calling a toll-free number, emailing the provided address, or visiting the dedicated website.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis case highlights the commitment to providing high-quality products at affordable prices,\u201d stated Attorney General Michelle Henry. \u201cUnfortunately, these companies engaged in practices that were contrary to this principle, aiming to inflate prices and limit competition. The settlements aim to restore justice for those affected.\u201d<\/p>\n

The allegations against Apotex and Heritage center on the manipulation of prices and the reduction of market competition regarding various generic drugs. Both companies have committed to cooperating with ongoing litigation involving around 30 more corporate defendants and 25 individual executives. Additionally, they have agreed to implement changes aimed at ensuring fair competition and adherence to antitrust laws moving forward.<\/p>\n
