One notable amendment to the Employment Service Act permits the hiring of foreign caregivers for individuals over 80 years old, eliminating the requirement for the elderly to undergo a medical evaluation. Additionally, those aged 70 to 79 diagnosed with stage two or higher cancer are also eligible for caregiver assistance. This decision aims to tackle the existing supply-demand imbalance in the caregiving market\u2014a challenge that affects many families grappling with moderate to severe health issues.
