West Haven Revolutionizes Internet Access with New Fiber Network<\/strong><\/p>\n

WEST HAVEN \u2014 Residents and businesses in West Haven can now enjoy ultra-high-speed broadband internet, thanks to the completion of a cutting-edge open-access fiber network. This significant development marks a crucial step toward enhancing community connectivity and fostering economic growth.<\/em><\/p>\n

Earlier this month, UTOPIA Fiber announced the successful completion of a $17.6 million project that brings high-speed internet to virtually every residential and commercial address in the area. The initiative was greenlit by the West Haven City Council in July 2022 when they approved a partnership with the Utah Infrastructure Agency (UIA) and UTOPIA Fiber. Construction began about a year later, in June 2023, and in just a few months, the entire project was brought to fruition, connecting over 6,600 addresses.<\/p>\n

She added that users can select from 19 residential and more than 25 business internet providers, fostering competition, which leads to better pricing and service.<\/p>\n
