Reflection:<\/strong>
\nResentment is a heavy burden, one that ensnares our hearts and minds, chaining us to the very people or circumstances that have wronged us. When we allow resentment to take root, it thrives in the darkness of our thoughts and emotions, distorting our perception of ourselves and others. Yet, as followers of Christ, we are called to a different path\u2014a path of freedom and grace.<\/p>\n

In Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus reminds us, \u201cFor if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.\u201d Forgiveness is not merely a gift we give to others; it is a divine invitation that releases us from the chains of bitterness, allowing us to experience the fullness of God\u2019s love and grace.<\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/strong>
\nHeavenly Father, I come before You today, recognizing the burdens I carry due to resentment and bitterness.
