Have you ever found yourself struggling to part with something familiar, even when you know it’s time to embrace the new? Imagine being with a friend, someone whose presence brings comfort and assurance, yet, despite their importance, you’re promised something even greater in their absence. This is the scenario the disciples faced as Jesus prepared them for His departure, assuring them of the arrival of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n

Understanding John 16:7<\/h2>\n

In John 16:7, Jesus tells His disciples, \u201cBut I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.\u201d At first glance, this statement may seem puzzling. How could it be advantageous for Jesus, their beloved teacher and guide, to leave?<\/p>\n
