Matthew 25:35-40<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cFor I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in… Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reflection<\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

In our world, it is all too easy to stay within the comfort of familiar faces and places. We often create barriers, both visible and invisible, that separate us from \u201cthe stranger.\u201d Yet, as followers of Christ, we are called to venture beyond our comfort zones and embrace those who may seem different or unknown.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cEmbracing the stranger\u201d is not merely a physical act of welcoming someone into our homes, but a spiritual journey that requires an open heart. In doing so, we reflect the heart of Christ. He had a unique way of engaging with those on the fringes of society\u2014tax collectors, sinners, the sick, and outcasts. In every interaction, He modeled grace and love without judgment.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Embracing the stranger invites us to shift our paradigms. It encourages us to step into the shoes of the unfamiliar and recognize that every person carries a story\u2014often one of pain, hope, love, and longing. Just as we seek community, companionship, and understanding, so do others. <\/p>\n

While it may not always be easy, the call goes beyond social niceties. We are challenged to lift the veil of prejudice, fear, and indifference. This means actively seeking opportunities to learn about other cultures, experiences, and perspectives. The richness of fellowship emerges when diverse voices come together in unity.<\/p>\n

Lead us on this journey of faith and fellowship, that we may be vessels of Your peace in a divided world. Amen.<\/p>\n
