As demand for bona fide semaglutide products increases, legitimate supplies are often depleted, paving the way for a burgeoning market of online sellers offering dubious alternatives. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are sounding the alarm, urging consumers to exercise caution when purchasing these medications online.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are really taking a risk by ordering these products online and not knowing really, the supplier that\u2019s sending it to them,\u201d cautioned Salvatore Ingrassia, a CBP Port Director. Tests on counterfeit pharmaceuticals have uncovered alarming findings, including toxic substances such as antifreeze, insufficient active ingredients, and various dangerous fillers.<\/p>\n

As officials escalate efforts to intercept these fraudulent shipments, the FDA is targeting online operators of counterfeit products, issuing warnings to desist or face legal repercussions.
