The women, both employees of healthcare company Aetna, reportedly manipulated their knowledge of processing claims related to hospitals and accidents to submit false claims and accompanying documentation. They fabricated medical invoices and explanations of benefits for procedures that never occurred, pocketing over $408,000 and $736,000, respectively.<\/p>\n
