Reflection:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the opening chapters of Genesis, we witness not just the creation of the universe but the establishment of humanity\u2019s divine role within it. The word \u201cstewardship\u201d may conjure images of caretaking or simple management, but the biblical view of stewardship encompasses a deeper relationship with God, creation, and each other. We were created in God\u2019s image, endowed with responsibility and authority, called to "rule" over the Earth\u2014not in an oppressive manner, but as loving guardians of God’s creation.<\/p>\n

Divine stewardship begins with the acknowledgment that everything we see\u2014the land, the seas, the skies, and all creatures\u2014belongs first to God. In our role as stewards, we are invited to participate in God\u2019s creative work and care for what He has made. Our stewardship reflects God\u2019s character and intentions; thus, honoring creation is a form of worship.<\/p>\n
