Meaning<\/h2>\n

This beautiful priestly blessing, given through Aaron, is a divine invocation to God’s protective, providential care and favor. It comprises a three-fold blessing signifying complete and comprehensive coverage. Three is a number of completion in biblical symbolism, and this verse offers completion of God’s grace in manifold areas of our lives.<\/p>\n

“The LORD bless you and keep you” embodies God’s promise of physical, emotional, and spiritual protection. The next line, “The LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you”, signals divine approval, favor, and the appeal for God’s grace. Lastly, “The LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace” implies God’s constant attention and peace, regardless of our life circumstances.<\/p>\n
