Now, that’s a truth that shakes us, makes us reconsider our notions of material comfort, privilege, and the true essence of happiness. Let’s ponder more about this and cultivate a deeper compassion that transcends physical comforts and recognizes the sanctity of every human brother and sister.<\/p>\n

Matthew 8:20, “And Jesus said to him, \u201cFoxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”<\/p>\n

Meaning<\/h2>\n

This verse speaks about a disciple who professed his willingness to follow Jesus wherever he might go. Jesus responded with this verse indicating that even the creatures have a place to return to, but He himself, the Son of Man, does not have a physical home.<\/p>\n

This was not a discouragement but a revelation of the actual conditions of His earthly ministry. He was not offering a path decorated with worldly riches or comfortable homes, but a life of continuous, selfless service to mankind. Jesus, who owns everything in heaven and earth, chose a life of humility, simplicity, and total reliance on God.<\/p>\n
