\nDear Lord, today I come before you, filled with the understanding of the divine gift you have endowed upon humanity: the gift of human rights. It is because of Your infinite generosity that these rights exist, and it is you who insists that we respect and uphold them. \n<\/p>\n

\nI pray that You’ll continue to instill within us the values of respect for each other, and for the dignity intrinsic in your creation \u2014 every man, woman, and child. Help us, O Lord, to appreciate and protect the rights of the weak, the vulnerable, the marginalized, those who are often overlooked or silenced. \n<\/p>\n

\nMay your Spirit guide world leaders and policy-makers, so they may enact laws that protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of every person \u2014 rights to life, to liberty, to equality, and to the pursuit of happiness.\n<\/p>\n

\nFinally, Dear Lord, empower each of us to play our part in promoting a world that values human rights. Ignite in our hearts the courage to speak up for social justice, equality, and dignity for all. In Jesus’ name, I make this prayer, Amen.\n<\/p>\n
