Devotional Title: Seth and Enosh: A Legacy of Faith and Reverence

“Adam made love to his wife again, and she gave birth to a son and named him Seth, saying, ‘God has granted me another child in place of Abel, since Cain killed him.’ Seth also had a son, and he named him Enosh. At that time, people began to call on the name of the Lord.”

In the unfolding narrative of Genesis, we find a pivotal moment in human history marked by the birth of Seth, the son of Adam and Eve, and later, his son Enosh. This narrative signifies the resilience of faith and serves as a touchstone for understanding our own spiritual journeys today. After Cain’s dreadful act against Abel, the birth of Seth represents a second chance—a divine reminder that God’s plan is not thwarted by human failure.
